PEACH TREE IN BLOOM
Mr. William R. Larkins, of this place, called at our office on Wednesday last and presented us with a small limb, cut from a Peach tree growing on his premises, covered with a profusion of blossoms. The month of December has been very mild this season. Whilst writing this paragraph our office is so warm that we have to throw open the door to get some fresh air. Mr. Larkins informs us that the tree from which the twig before us is cut presents the appearance usual to Peach trees in the month of March.
