The noble order of Knights of Pythias now has a flourishing lodge in this city. It is officered by well known business men who, appreciating the grandeur of its principles, are gathering many into the knighthood. The teachings of the order, Friendship, Charity and Bravery, are acquisitions needed to true manhood, and with proper caution, the inculcation of them will cement, in perhaps stronger tie, the common brotherhood of man. Those who are on the tongue of good report, and are properly vouched for, can enter the portals of the secret castle.
