To the PRINTERS.
Since the Tories are so set upon ruining this continent, as not even to scruple the violating their own plighted faith, rather than not perpetrate it, what man that loves his country will deal with them! Will any true son or daughter of liberty sip the juice of that accursed exotick tea, lest it should be a part of the late importation of these vile ingrates! Let it be remembered that the Minister has not even flattered us that the duty upon tea shall be taken off; and what is the reason? Why it is because these importers and their friends, the enemies of the country, have wrote him that the people of this country will not deny themselves a dish of tea for the sake of their liberty! And I am afraid there is too much truth in it. Consider what you are doing, ye fair daughters of the land, and be wise, for yourselves and your posterity.

Main Argument
colonists should boycott dealing with tories and drinking their imported tea to resist the british tea duty, as it supports policies that violate liberty; the minister relies on reports that americans prioritize tea over freedom.
