Changes made to the faculty and curriculum at Fairburn Junior High School. A Home Economics department has been opened under the supervision of Mrs. T. C. Parms. Both boys and girls are eligible for this training.
Additions to the faculty included Miss S. N. Glenn and J. H. Parkman who is head of the music department.
The Fairburn PTA held its first meeting and parents and faculty members were grieved to receive the resignation of Mrs. Percy Thomas, president. Her position was filled by M. G. Fisher.
A very interesting and elaborate school program has been worked out for the year including a state wedding to be held in November and a Christmas Vesper service to be performed by the music department in December. J. R. Ealey is principal of Fairburn Junior High School.
