There are a lot of long-eared cornstalks, including the Pioneer Press, that (or who) take great pleasure in stating that "Donnelly edits the Great West!"
Now we feel complimented by the statement. But think of poor Mr. Donnelly—how must he feel? Mr. D. does not edit the Great West. When he offers anything for this sheet, except on rare occasions, it is over his signature. Occasions to the contrary may have occurred once or twice in two years, where he asked him to write up an item.
As to the review of the recent trial Mr. Donnelly never saw a word of it until it was in print.
