More than three thousand people attended the fifteenth annual meeting of the Land O' Lakes Creameries, Inc. at the main plant in Minneapolis March 12 and 13. They came mainly from the four states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, in which the organization has its largest membership, but there were delegates present also from Missouri, Oklahoma and California.

Sales of the organization during 1935 amounted to $35,500,000, an increase of $3,000,000 over 1934. Of the 23 directors all but two were re-elected. The new ones are E. H. Huhnke of Deer Creek and F. A. Streigel of Pine City. John Brandt, manager, was re-elected a director.

Brandt's Address

Mr. Brandt, in his annual address, stressed the necessity of cooperative marketing for the welfare of American agriculture. He pointed to the benefits derived from the entrance of cooperatives into the agricultural marketing field, and urged the development of cooperative marketing until its services are extended to all major farm crops and embrace all the production areas of American agriculture.

Other speakers at the two-day session were Chas. W. Holman, secretary of the National Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation, Dean W. C. Coffey of the Minnesota College of Agriculture, J. O. Christianson, superintendent of the Minnesota School of Agriculture, and T. G. Stitts of the Dairy Section of the Central Bank for Cooperatives. E. F. Selvig, chief auditor of the Department of Agriculture, Dairy and Food, made a thorough and able analysis of the financial statement of the organization.
