London, April 29.-The overtures for the resumption of the Brussels monetary conference on May 30 are received coldly by Sir William Harcourt, chancellor of exchequer. While not refusing absolutely to participate in the conference he is understood to contemplate merely sending two British delegates to make observations. In view of this indifference, if not hostility, of Great Britain to the reassembling of the delegates in Brussels, it seems doubtful whether the conference will ever be got together again.
