The Investigating committee on the fund of Mr. Ruggles, is now the all absorbing topic. The "Spy" is the greatest man in Washington, and every one is busy in calculating how many, and who, are the other honorable Senators implicated. The wires have been pulled to some effect, to: the alarm bell has been given motion, and is ringing from one end of the country to the other. The committee have unlimited power, and so you must expect our Sergeant-at-Arms in Wall street in a few days, with his hat full of subpoenas. Verily, the Sheoimiste wigoibroat.
