It appears that the hound dog of Sam Carson—which bit John K. (Jack) Scott, Jr., young son of Mr. and Mrs. John K. Scott of the Philadelphia section last Monday afternoon while the little boy was playing with the children of Mr. Carson, was not mad. The dog was killed immediately after the occurrence and its head sent to the state laboratory in Columbia for examination. The parents of the little lad were soon after advised that examination disclosed the dog was not suffering from rabies or hydrophobia.
