The Convention made choice of Israel Bartlett of Nottingham, for President, and William K. A. Hoit, of New Market, Secretary. After which it was voted that a candidate for Councillor in District No. 1, be nominated by ballot; which resulted in the choice unanimously of Noah Piper, of Stratham. The Convention then proceeded to ballot for candidates for Senators in Districts No. 1, and 2, which resulted in the unanimous choice of Col. Joseph Cilley, of Nottingham, for District No. 2, and Moses H. Wiggins, of Durham, for District No. 1. It was then voted to renominate the candidates supported by the Liberty Party, in this County, last year, for the offices of County Treasurer, Register of Deeds, and Road Commissioners.
Voted, That John M. Towle, John Gilman, of New Market, and Enoch Bartlett of Epping, be a County Committee for the year ensuing.
Voted, That the County Committee be requested to furnish each town in the County with an ample supply of votes for the next election.
Voted, That the Proceedings of this meeting be published in the People's Advocate and all the papers in the County which feel disposed to publish them.
