Dr. Parkhurst Says He Has Reliable Data on the Subject.
New York, Jan. 26.—Dr. Parkhurst, who returned from Chicago to-day, speaking of his lecture in the Windy City, said:
"There was nothing said regarding the corruption or rottenness of Chicago that was not susceptible of proof. My facts were all gathered for me by people in whom I have the utmost confidence.
"The people who came to hear me supposing that I had been invited to Chicago for the purpose of abusing New York may have been disappointed. New York can learn nothing in the way of reform from Chicago."
