But instead of this, the large lawn in front of the building will be seeded with grass,--already there is a coat of green grass springing up--and shrubbery planted to make it beautiful and inviting to strangers and visitors to the city and to passersby. Elizabeth City will gain some valuable advertising thru this firm because those who come here are going away and tell what a beautiful and unusual place this company has, with its grassy lawn and shady shrubbery. Carier Perry is proud of his new place of business. and he has a right to be, for Elizabeth Citizens are proud to have such a place to show their visitors. Elizabeth City needs more such places.
