Flora Wolff Seeks Wife's Share Under Laws of Mexico.
El Paso, Tex., April 25.—Creditors of the estate of the late Lord D. J. Beresford have filed an application in the district court here for the appointment of an administrator and probate of the will. Among the plaintiffs is Flora Wolff, the negress who claims to have been the common law wife of Beresford and to whom he willed $10,000. The others are persons whose claims a New York lawyer, representing the Beresford family, attempted to discount. The estate is valued at over $1,000,000, and the Wolf woman claims a wife's share. Admiral Lord Beresford failed to reach a compromise with her.
