Full Text

It is a fact, that all those books which were written by the excellent and learned Dr. Price, during the war with America, have been translated into Dutch, and are read there with all the avidity with which they were some time ago read in America, and will, most likely, produce a similar effect. A curious instance of the power of a private individual to propagate truth and reason in an enlightened age, and to contribute to the advancement of the freedom and emancipation of mankind from tyranny and arbitrary power.

Many Dutch families have lately left the Provinces, and more are quitting it, insurrections being hourly expected. The army, the navy, and all the lower class of people are with the Prince, --the trading part only, who suffer by the war, being the supporters of the faction.
