The GLORIOUS VICTORY was observed last evening in this town, with exuberant joy and festivity.—A roasted ox, and plenty of liquor, formed the repast; a number of toasts were drank on the occasion—

French and American colours were displayed—cannons fired; and in the evening, illuminations, bonfires, rockets, and squibs, gave agreeable amusement to the numerous spectators.

At Newberg, the occasion was observed in the same manner: and to enliven the entertainment they hanged and burnt the traitor Arnold, in effigy. In New Windsor, Frederickstown, and other towns, the same brilliant occasion, was observed with demonstrations of gratitude and joy.
