Frank Emerick Hurled From Motor Cycle, Striking Against Railroad Tie --- Operation Necessary -- Injuries While Painful, Not Serious.

Frank Emerick was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon at the race track, when he was hurled from his motorcycle, his hip striking the end of a railroad tie. The bones in his hip were splintered. He was rushed to the hospital and is now resting easily. The injuries, though serious, are not believed to be necessarily fatal.
