Full Text

A Baltimore paper of March 11, contains the following:

Military discipline, says a correspondent, is an object worthy the attention of every person in a country like this, and the writer believes it is consonant with the principles of our constitution, if not expressly permitted. Under these circumstances our inattention to this useful and agreeable exercise, is much to be wondered at.

We do not find this neglect in Philadelphia, New York, &c. Let the example of our neighbours excite us, and we shall afford much satisfaction to those heroes amongst us, who were lately in the service of our country, as well as do ourselves a credit in the eye of foreigners.
