North Dakotans Talk
On New Dam Project

Washington, April 18.-(AP)-A delegation representing Governor William Langer of North Dakota conferred Monday with that state's congressional delegation and department of agriculture officials in efforts to arrange for building dams in North Dakota as a conservation project and to aid the unemployed.

R. E. Cobb, president of the state forestry school at Bottineau, N. D., said the matter still was "up in the air," and that no decision was expected immediately. Conferences will continue, he added.

The North Dakota plan calls for construction of 2,000 dams to improve lakes and streams.
