Debate Is Planned for Next Chamber Meeting

President Burdette W. Fothergill of the Chamber of Commerce, this week announced that the program for the November meeting of the Chamber on Monday, November 8th, at Odd Fellows' Hall, would be in the form of a debate. Two teams of three members each will be chosen to debate the subject: "It is best and most economical for East Hartford People to Trade in East Hartford."

Announcement of the selection of the personnel of the affirmative and negative teams and the judges will be made later. Both teams will be made up of members of the Chamber, and it is anticipated that the program will be interesting and novel to the Chamber members and friends.
