Eli Barack Lands State Census Post
Eli Barack, of Columbus, former coach in the Caldwell schools, has been named district federal census supervisor for 1950 and has already assumed his new duties.
Barack released a statement today from Columbus that the filing deadline for those seeking census jobs is Friday, Feb. 24.
He urged applicants not to call at the Columbus census office but to send a card or letter to the census bureau in applying for jobs. He said applicants then will be notified when to report to complete application forms.
Eli Barack was coach of the Redskins for several years but has since given up teaching.
