WHEELING BRIDGE.
A report from the Engineer of the Wheeling and Belmont Bridge Company, to the managers, is issued from our press this morning by order of the managers, for general circulation. It shows the progress and cost of the work,—the progress to be as great as could possibly be expected, and the cost below the estimates.
The report shows that our highest expectations have been more than realized, sanguine as we are called, that the bridge will be completed within the time set, and within the estimates, even with the application of $2,000 dollars extra for railway fastenings.
