ASBURY PARK, N. J., March 29.
-As a temporary experiment,
Manager Joe McCarthy of the
New York Yankees used Pitcher-

Bill Johnson shifted from third
to short, Ossie Grimes stayed at
second and Nick Etten at first
while Outfielder Tuck Stainback
stayed in the reserve line.
And
just to make matters a little more
confusing, Catcher Rollie Hemsley
also took a workout at third base.
