BRUSSELS, JULY 3.

The following is a letter from the King of France to M. le Blacas. It is written from Ghent.

M. Le Comte. I owe it to the repose of the few days that I have to live, to the tranquility of the world, and to the council of my allies, to remove from my government persons who are very dear to me, and among whom I particularly distinguish you. Carry with you into your retreat the testimony of the satisfaction of your King, and the certainty of his being always your friend.

From my temporary residence at Ghent, this 19th of June, 1815.

LOUIS.
