Supreme Court Decisions.
Carthagenian

As soon as the Supreme Court meets in October, The Comet will resume the publication of full abstracts of decisions as prepared by Messrs. Jenkins & Little. These abstracts have been highly complimented by the Bar throughout the State as conveying in condensed but clear style the main points and principles on which each decision is based. We hope the legal brotherhood of the State will show a sufficient appreciation of this feature of The Comet to make it a permanent one. As stated in January last, we contracted for the publication of these reports for the space of twelve months without reference to the encouragement the Bar might give; but we are happy to say that most of the prominent lawyers in the State have had their names enrolled on our subscription book. If the rest will follow the good example, there will be no trouble in keeping up the reports of the Supreme Court decisions.
—Jackson Comet,

Each issue of The Comet is as full of good reading as an egg is of meat, and the paper is well worth the subscription price. ($2) to any one who can read. With the addition of the important attraction to the legal fraternity mentioned in the paragraph above, we can't see how any live lawyer can fail to take it.
