A mysterious woman who was the last person seen with Howard Carter Dickinson, right, prominent New York attorney and nephew of Charles Evans Hughes, chief justice, was sought by police following the finding of his bullet-riddled body in a Detroit suburb. Dickinson, who had gone to Detroit to settle a claim against the $40,000,000 estate of the late William H. Yawkey by Mrs. Elizabeth Witherspoon, left, apparently had been killed, robbed and his body tossed from an automobile some distance from scene of the murder.
