Mission Preview Slated Nov. 25 At St. Charles

The annual Central Catholic League preview with benefits going to diocesan missions will be held Friday, November 25 at St. Charles gym in Columbus.

All five CCL teams plus Zanesville Rosecrans and Bishop Watterson teams will compete in the two-quarter-for-each competition.

Besides allowing followers of the various teams to get an idea of how their favorites will fare once the season opens, coaches have an opportunity of trying various combinations and using new personnel in actual game conditions.

The year will mark the first appearance of both the Rosecrans and Watterson teams in the event. Watterson will be fielding its first team in history and will play a reserve schedule this fall. Rosecrans will be going into Class A competition for the first time this year. This will make the first time that an equal balance of A and B schools will be entered.
