Search for Body of Capt. Piner Goes On

Swansboro, N.C., Dec. 21.—(U.P.)

Coast guardsmen today began the fourth day of search for the body of Capt. Finley Piner, 51, believed to have drowned after falling overboard in Bogue Inlet.

Piner apparently lost balance and toppled overboard 100 yards from the dock. His shipmates quickly spotted him with searchlights, but the captain, an excellent swimmer, sank before a rescue boat reached him. He was believed to have suffered a heart attack in the water.
