Yankees, Lions And Braves Mix in 3-Team Doubleheader Today

There'll be fireworks galore at Yankee Field this afternoon, when the Atlanta Yankees, APACO Lions and Atlanta Braves of the Georgia-Alabama Amateur Baseball League slug-it-out in a big three-team doubleheader. The opener gets underway at 2:30 p.m. A capacity crowd is expected to be on hand to see the Yankees pair-off with the Lions in the curtain-raiser, with the winner going against the Braves in the nightcap. Matching strategy in the three-way bargain-bill will be Manager Hubert Wade, of the Yankees; Manager Willie Roseberry, of the Lions; and Manager Early King, of the Braves. Slated for action on the rival rosters are:
