Loses Two Fingers While Playing near Car Wheel Truck

Clyde Sanders, the 11 year old son of Engineer Frank Sanders of the Union Pacific railroad, is minus two fingers as the result of having them pinched off in the Union Pacific yards Saturday afternoon.

The young lad was playing around some old car wheel trucks on a side track, pushing them backward and forward, and in some manner one of the wheels caught his hand and the two middle fingers were cut off close to the hand.

Dr. Fall dressed the lad's hand and he is getting along nicely.
