By an arrival at New-York, Liverpool papers have been received to the 9th, and London to the 7th November, which are said to contain little else than the particulars of the illness, death, &c. of the Princess Amelia.
On this subject, a London paper of November 5, observes, "We have this day the painful task of announcing the Death of the amiable Princess Amelia. During the whole of Thursday night and Friday morning, her Royal Highness could scarcely be perceived to breathe, and at a quarter past 12 P. M. this interesting and amiable object of publick solicitude departed this life."
A general and deep mourning was to commence the ensuing Sunday, and continue for 6 weeks, and the theatres and all places of publick amusement were to be closed.
The funeral of the Princess Amelia was to take place on the 13th November, at 8 in the evening.
The bulletins of the king's health, were, on the 5th and 6th November as follows:-
5th—"The king had a good night—has been rather better the last 24 hours."
6th— "His Majesty has passed the night with very little sleep, and is not better this morning." [The next day his Majesty was rather better.]
