Extract of a letter from Elizabeth Town, May 4.

In addition to the former, five sail of frigates are ordered out to call in their cruisers, and were this day to sail, two of which fell down, the others to follow. In general orders, no excursions to be suffered, and that at the risk of the transgressors or party that should take upon them to attempt it.

"There is a fleet of transports picking up, to sail soon for Britain, with offers of a passage for refugees or loyalists, if they chuse to accept of it."
