How Black Republicans are Elected.

—In the five Congressional Districts embracing Philadelphia and its environs, says the New Orleans Delta, five Black Republicans are elected to Congress by majorities averaging 500 to each District. Now, in each District there was a majority against them! How does the reader suppose these Black Republicans were elected? Of course the Belloveritte did everything possible to defeat them—at least we should infer from their protestations of love to the Union. Strange to say, however, they voted for separate candidates, for whom they cast, in aggregate, 6000 votes, and thus defeated the Democratic nominees. Thus five Black Republicans get into Congress to aid Lincoln in his programme for the subjugation of the South.
