Windham County Leads With Total of 80.

Reports from the office of the state fish and game commissioner, Linus Leavens of Cambridge, show that 459 deer killed during the open season have been reported to the commissioner thus far. Windham county leads with 80 and Rutland county is second with 66. The totals by counties are as follows:

Addison, 34; Bennington, 49; Caledonia, 22; Chittenden, 12; Essex, 37; Franklin, 9; Grand Isle, 0; Lamoille, 40; Orange, 16; Orleans, 12; Rutland, 66; Washington, 32; Windham, 80; Windsor, 50; total, 459.
