Kennebec District.—Whole number of votes 4,930—necessary to a choice, 2,466—George Evans had 2,581, and is chosen.
Hancock and Washington Districts.—Whole number of votes, 5,098—necessary to a choice, 2,550; Leonard Jarvis had 1495; George G. Deane 1408; Joshua W. Hathaway 1034; Samuel Upton 872; Jeremiah O'Brian 152; scattering 137. —No choice. The 30th inst. is designated for the fifth trial.
The federal papers in Kennebunk and Saco, after crying out for several weeks that there was no choice of Senators in York county, now say that Mr. Usher, one of their candidates, is elected! We doubt it.
