Who's Kidding Whom?

The Democrats say they are against higher taxes in Michigan.

In the past five years of Democratic administration, the tax burden in Michigan has gone up 200 million dollars. That's how much more the people are paying now than before the present Governor assumed office.

In addition, he requested spending 336 million dollars more than his own estimate of revenue, and if the Legislature had not practiced strict economy, the taxpayer would have to dig up millions of dollars more to pay state bills.
