A Man of the Militia having a small demand on Justice Hazen for a debt of about 6 or 7 pounds, the justice at his own house lately told him he had not so much money by him, for that he had not received any part of his salary for near twenty two months past.

Query. Is this not a reflection upon the province in keeping him out of his money, and thereby disabling him to discharge his just debts? When it is notorious it is the ruin of this government, that he receive what is due to him as Chief Justice, and a general complaint that he had not applied to the province treasurer for it.
