Last Week his Majesty was graciously pleased to order 200l. to be given to the Seamen who were taken and imprisoned by the Spaniards, and who are lately come Home; which Sum was divided amongst them last Thursday, by Sir George Champion, Knt. and Alderman, and Mr. Alderman Cater, the Sheriff of this City. They had some of them 10 l. some 7l. others 6l. and the rest 5l. a Man. Thomas Bunch, (whose Letter we publish'd in the Gazette, Numb. 104,) had 10 l. The Sailors, with Hearts full of Gratitude, thank'd the worthy Aldermen for their impartial Distribution; and went to the Tavern, where they drank a long and glorious Life to his Majesty King George, and all his Friends; and heartily wish'd for an Opportunity to return the Favours they had receiv'd from the Spaniards.
