HEALDTON.
Healdton, Okla, March 7—Special
Judging from the looks of trees and grass one would say that spring is here. Fruit trees are in full bloom. Some have begun to plant corn and we hear some early gardeners say their truck is coming up.
Miss Ara Gilstrap of Ardmore was a visitor here the first of the week.
Miss Gillie Oim returned to school the first of the week.
Mrs. Hamtond was on our streets this week.
Mr. Ingram was here in the interest of his wholesale house.
Dr. and Mrs. Teagle have a little son.
Dr. Davis has sold out to Dr. Smith and will move to the Rock Island railroad.
J. B. Watson is busy building a storm house.
There is very little sickness in our community at present.
Farmers are all plowing and getting their ground in fine shape. Nearly all will plant corn next week.
