PORTSMOUTH.

We hear from Goreham, near Falmouth, that last Wednesday se'nnight the Rev. Mr. Josiah Thatcher, was ordained to the Pastoral Care of the Church of Christ in that Town : The Rev. Mr. Lankton, opened the Solemnity with Prayer, the Rev. Mr. Haven, preached a Sermon on the first Thess. III. 8, adapted to the joyful Solemnity of the Day, and the Circumstances of that Place ; the Rev. Mr. Morril gave the Charge ; the Rev. Mr. Hemmenway, gave the Right-hand of Fellowship, and the Rev. Mr. Meriam closed with Prayer.
