Serious Accident.

Mr. Levi Webb of this town, while walking up Main street to his residence on Monday evening, about half past 9 o'clock, slipped upon the ice with a keg of butter in his arms, and fractured his leg. It was badly broken at the lower third of the tibia and also at the upper third of the fibula about three inches below the knee. Drs. McAllister & Harding, were called, reduced the fracture, and applied an apparatus, which renders Mr. Webb comparatively comfortable, and it is hoped that he will soon recover.
