Nations Three.

Nations three shall rule the world,
Nations three with one flag unfurled—
The banner of Justice, the flag of the free,
The symbol and sign of the Nations three!

No need of the prophet to tell the tale;
No need of the seer to lift future's veil.
The humblest man of men can see
The advancing light of the Nations three!

The humblest man of men doth know
How the wonderful winds of Destiny blow;
And can see how the sparks of freedom and right
Shall be wafted together in one great light.

And shall burn, and glow, and embrace the world—
One light, one purpose, one flag unfurled!

The Lord God hurry those deeds of time—
When Justice shall rule as a lord sublime;
When Freedom shall know every land and sea,
And peace endure by the Nations three.

When the East shall be brother in blood with the West;
When the South shall not envy the Northern crest;
When Humanity's voice shall be heard in all lands,
And all nations seal faith with fellowships' hands.

When none shall be bond, but all shall be free.
By the Lord God's grace and the Nations three.

—Elwyn Irving Hoffman.
