VARIED DOCKET IN
RECORDER'S COURT

Several Defendants Appear To Answer To Many Charges; Three Are Continued

A docket composed of varied cases was tried before T. S. Kittrell in recorder's court here this morning. Three of the cases were continued until Saturday.

David Thompson white was given 60 days for cursing on the highway was ordered to pay the costs on a charge of assault on condition he keeps good behavior; was found not guilty of trespass, disorderly conduct, possession of liquor, and of transporting liquor.

H. M. Grider, white, found guilty of giving a worthless check and given six months on the roads, commitment not to issue on condition that he pay costs and make the check good.

Leonard Perry, colored, drunk, was given five days in jail and ordered to pay the costs of the case.

Sam Hays, white, drunk, was fined $1 and costs.

May Radford and Sid Loyd, white, charged with engaging in an affray and May Radford was adjudged not guilty and Loyd had judgement suspended on payment of costs and good behavior.

May Radford, white, charged with operating a bawdy house, was given six months in jail, commitment not to issue on condition that she pay the costs and move at least ten miles from Henderson.

The case of John Miller and Ola Grissom, white, who are charged with being drunk and disorderly, fornication and adultery, possession of liquor and assault was continued until September 10.

Edison Hicks, white, drunk and trespass, continued until September 10.

Ernest Grissom, white, charged with assault, case continued until September 10.
