PORTLAND —(AP)—An Oregon National Guard plane apparently crashed late Friday night or early Saturday morning in the cloud-covered southeastern Washington hills north of here.

The A-26 attack bomber with three Portlanders aboard disappeared in the same area in which an army C-47 crashed last month with the loss of eight lives.

On a routine flight from McChord Field, Wash., to Portland, it last was reported by radio at 8:16 p.m. when some minutes south of Toledo, Wash.
