The New Church Father Jacquet is Building.

It is already known that Father Jacquet's plan in building the new Catholic church, was first to raise the money and then order work. Thus he has finished the outside of the building. The inside is only partly finished but not sufficiently to hold religious services. Yet he needs it much, as his present building is too small for the increasing congregation, so the ladies of the parish are going to have a bazaar some weeks from now, so as to raise means to pay for the remaining work which will be resumed at once. It is to be hoped that the generous-hearted people of Spokane Falls and neighboring places will lend Father Jacquet a helping hand to adorn the city with a handsome edifice for the worship of God.

Mrs. C. Sullivan will take charge of the bazaar, assisted by the following ladies, who have kindly volunteered their valuable services, and their names alone are a sufficient guarantee of success in every particular: Mrs. Sweeny, Mrs. Graham, Mrs. Woodrow, Mrs. H. Bell and Mrs. Haas, will take charge of the various booths. In charge of the various tables are the following ladies aided by the usual corps of engaging young lady solicitors: Wheel of fortune, Miss L. Haas; candy bazaar and post-office, Miss A. Linden. Besides there will be a restaurant table and an oyster lunch and supper table.

Donations can be sent to Father Jacquet or to Mrs. C. Sullivan, who will act as president, or to Mrs. Graham, as treasurer, and Miss A. Linden as secretary. The time and place will be announced later.
