Fort Collins Coach Having a Hot Time With Wisconsin School

Coach Harry Hughes of the Aggie college at Fort Collins returned from Madison, Wis., Saturday, where he had been for a conference with the athletic heads of that institution concerning taking over the cares of the Wisconsin football duties. Hughes was one of three men considered for the position, which starts with a salary of $6,000, and which is slated as one of the best athletic berths on the continent. It seems likely, in view of Hughes' refusal to finish the basketball season with a weak team and a small gymnasium, that the Aggie mentor is hot after the job, and in case he lands it, all Aggiedom will be in a rain of tears, as Hughes is well liked and has brought the Farmers from a lowly position in the conference to the highest.
