Residents Here Cousins Of 'Little Women' Author

With the screen version of Louisa May Alcott's immensely popular story "Little Women," at the Bradley, it will be of interest to local people to know that several residents here are distant cousins of the author of the story of the March family.

It became known this week also that Louisa M. Alcott had visited on several occasions in Pomfret.

Among those who are distant cousins of the author are the following: George May, Mr. and Mrs. Everett May and John May of East Woodstock. Dr. Robert C. Paine of Thompson, Miss Emma Roberts, Leon T. Wilson and Miss Elizabeth C. Child of Putnam.
