HAMILTON HAS ITS ROAD OIL

The City of Hamilton Was Beginning to Wonder Whether It Would Arrive Before the Fall Raine.

Hamilton streets are oiled at last. The city of Hamilton bought some road oil to use extensively on its streets this summer.

The order was placed many moons ago, but yet rather late in the spring, or early in the summer, but after most other municipalities had ordered their oil for sprinkling.

It was so long in coming that the people despaired, and the city fathers became tired of monotonously explaining the impossibility of hurrying its arrival any.

At last it appeared at the railroad station, and no time was lost in putting it on the streets to lay the very deep dust.
