LONDON, June 28. By our last letters from France. we are informed of the following most horrid murder committed at Aix in Provence.

A Mr. E. President of the Parliament of that city, being lately married to a beautiful young lady, who could not, however. fix the affections of the monster whom her parents had. in a manner, compelled her to associate with for life. called in his servants one night, and holding down the unfortunate victim of his barbarity. ordered his wretched accomplice to cut off her head : which was done: The villain had already attempted to accomplish his hellish purpose first by poison, and, that very night, endeavoring, but in vain. to strangle her.

No other cause is assigned for this more than savage cruelty, than that the President lived in open adultery with a widow, whom he proposed to marry. The Parliament, to the honor of its Members be it said. have resolved to continue their sittings till every effort is made to bring the murderer. who has absconded to condign punishment. A considerable reward is offered to the first man who may apprehend, and bring him to justice.
