The Jubilee Singers of Bainbridge presented their own type of Christmas music at the holiday song fest. Mrs. E. W. Eardey accompanied women from Chardon's St. Mary's Church at the Christmas sing. Thursday, planned by Dr. Walter C. Corey, in the Chardon School Auditorium Thursday evening. The singers presented several Christmas spirituals.
A group from the Mennonite Church of Burton sang two Christmas selections a capella.
Beverly Opper of Chardon sang in the choir from Chardon's St. Mary's Church.
The women's section of the Chardon Methodist Church choir sang two special numbers. In this picture are Mary Ann Price, Marilyn Keyes, Cherri Warner, Dorothy Knap, Gladys Vaughn, Thelma Piene, Sally Johnson, Elva Mills, Flo Thrasher and Marjorie Maynard.
The men's section of the Chardon Methodist choir included Bob Arnold, Ernie Johnson, Henry Knapp, Dick Knapp and Bill Carson.
Members of Chardon's Pilgrim-Christian Church choir joined in the singing of the "Hallelujah Chorus," the program's finale, directed by Mrs. Paul Pope. In the picture are Marlene Logsdon, Sue Kelsey, Helen Johnson, Betty Jean Hanna, Billie Woodford and Rose Rossback.
