To the following is the supreme judgment of our neighbor of the Jeffersonian: " We do not think Hunt's character such as entitled him to a cent of damages." "Judge not," &c., neighbor! And again: "We have no sympathy for Holloway & Davis. Insolent and overbearing abuse of infinitely better men than Hunt, or themselves :) has been the main avocation of their paper, as they felt themselves in a majority that would sustain them." Look here, Mr. Jeffersonian, if we thought that the Supreme Court of this State would give judgment against you for "5,000," an action would be commenced instanter, for "giving a premature judgment when you thought yourself a party concerned!" Did we ever "abuse" you, Judge? D.
